This work sought to investigate teacher’s perception on the use of internet as a teaching resources in tertiary institutions in Enugu. Three specific purposes and three corresponding research questions were raised to guide the study. The instrument used to obtain information was a structured questionnaire the data collected were analyzed using mean. The population of the study comprised of all the lecturers in various departments in the institutions and a sample size of thirty-five (35) lecturers was used, using the simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was validated by one expert in the department of computer science education, one lecturer in biology education and one lecturer in early childhood  education. Test re-test reliability method was used to test the reliability of the instrument and the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient was used to obtain the reliability coefficient of 0.79 showing that instrument was reliable. The findings showed that lecturers have positive perception of the use of internet as a teaching resource; the impact of the use of internet as a teaching resources were positive as it helps in making the processing of results faster and easier but there are not enough infrastructural facilities for internet service in the institution the study recommended that the use of internet should be included in the curriculum just as any other course; internet facilities should be provided to the schools by the state or federal government and ensure that they are functional ;and compulsory computer training should be organized for teachers who are not computer literate.
